What is VOT3R?
In 5 minutes or less we give you the best in depth content about Politics from around the web. We search across many websites and pick the best articles so you won't have to.
Join
Do I need to join?
You can enjoy all the articles, photos and videos on VOT3R without an account. However, to submit a story, comment on articles and have your own profile page you will need an account.
How do I join?
Creating an account is easy. In the box under the VOT3R logo you will find a link that says "Join VOT3R". Click on the link and a black window will appear. Enter your user name, email address and password. When you are finished, click the "Join" button. You now have an account.
My Profile
How do I edit my profile?
Go to your personal dashboard under the VOT3R logo. Click on the "Edit My Profile" link. The next page will allow you to add or edit your name, photo, email address, website URL and ZIP code. You will also be able to edit your account information. When you are finished editing the information on the page press the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.
How do I change my password?
Go to your personal dashboard under the VOT3R logo. Click on the "Edit My Profile" link. On the following page there is a field labeled "password". Type your new password into this field. Then retype your new password into the field labeled "confirm password". When you are finished click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.
Can I delete my profile?
Currently you are not able to delete your entire profile. However, from the "Edit Profile" page you are able to remove your name, ZIP code and website.
How do I upload a picture?
Go to your personal dashboard under the VOT3R logo. Click on the link "Edit My Profile". At the top of the next page you will see a section labeled "Upload Picture". Click on the button labeled "Choose File". A window will open allowing you to select the picture from your computer that you wish to upload. Your picture must be saved as a JPG, GIF or PNG file and be no larger than 4MB.
Who can see my profile?
Everyone who comes to VOT3R.com will have access to your public profile. Your public profile includes your photo, username and location. You also have the option to show the articles you have read and the comments you have made on your profile. You can edit this information by clicking on "Edit Profile" in your personal dashboard located under the VOT3R logo.
Who can see my real name?
Everyone who comes to VOT3R.com has access to your profile page and will be able to see your name, if you entered it on your profile page. If you do not wish to display your name, do not enter it when creating your profile. You can add, edit and remove your name by clicking on the "Edit Profile" link in your personal dashboard under the VOT3R logo.
Customizing and Sharing
How do I customize the topics?
Based on the articles you read and topics you select, VOT3R.com customizes the topics list for you. In the next version of the site you will be able to customize your "My Topics" list.
How do I submit a story?
If you find a story that is currently not displayed on VOT3R.com, please let us know. You can submit a story by clicking on the "Submit a Story" link in your personal dashboard located under the VOT3R logo. A window will appear and ask you to enter the URL for the story as well as a title and description. When you are finished, click the submit button. VOT3R.com will then find your story and display it for you. You can then look over the story, assign tags an confirm it is the correct story. When you are finished, press the submit button.
How do I share a story?
Under each article listing, there is a "share" link next to a yellow icon. Click on the link and a window will appear with your sharing options. We currently support sharing with facebook, del.icio.us, digg and Yahoo! My Web. Click the option you want and you will be taken to that site.
How do I subscribe to an RSS feed?
Click on the RSS icon next to the content you want to subscribe to. You will be taken to page with the feed. Use the browser's subscribe feature if available or copy the URL to add to your reader.
How do I subscribe to my RSS feed?
Click on the RSS icon next to your username at the top of you're my Profile page. You will be taken to page with the feed. Use the browser's subscribe feature if available or copy the URL to add to your reader.
How do I share My Feed?
You can share your feed by copying the URL on your profile page and emailing it to your friends. We will be adding a button to automate this process in the near future.
Can I delete "Stories that I have Read" from my profile page?
Yes. The articles you have read show up on your profile page. To delete an article, click the "X" button next to the story. If you do not want the articles you have read to be displayed on your profiles page, you can change your settings on the "Edit Profile" page.
How do I comment on an article?
Under each article listing there is a "comment" link. Click the link and you will be taken to a page about the article. On that page there is a section to provide a comment. Enter in a title for your post, your comment as well as anyone you want to share the comment with and then click the "Post It!" button.

How can I provide feedback about the site?
In your personal dashboard under the VOT3R logo click on the "Feedback" link. An email window will open. Write your feedback and click send. Your email will go directly to our customer support team.
How can I report a bug or abuse?
Please use the "Report a Bug" link in your personal dashboard under the VOT3R logo to report a bug or abuse.
How can I contact LOUD3R?
Click on the "About Us" link in the footer to find out our location and contact information.
Is LOUD3R hiring?
Click on the "About Us" link in the footer to find out more about jobs at LOUD3R.
